The latest updates of Hurricane Milton –CAT 5

Hurricane Milton came just two weeks after hurricane Helene has been forecasted to continue to weaken in intensity as it made for a landfall on Wednesday night to early Thursday.

The Florida residents are asked to evacuate and prepare for the storm.  Florida is still swayed by the after effects caused by hurricane Helene on September 26. The CAT 4 hurricane came with a wind speed of 225 km/h causing potential damages in other southeastern states.

The National Hurricane Centre mentioned that Milton has presented itself as an extremely life threatening situation, thus people should expect damaging winds and torrential rain that will extend beyond the Inland and outside the forecast zones. The National Hurricane Center measures storm intensity using the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale, which ranks storms up to a Category 5, but some scientists think it may be time for a change – a CAT 6.
