A 39-year-old woman, Shannon Nicole Womack, has been arrested for pretending to be a nurse in several states.
According to reports, before her arrest, she had been working in multiple healthcare facilities for over five years. She also had been using 20 different aliases and 7 separate Social Security Numbers.
Authorities revealed that she had, in a fraudulent manner, gained employment as a nurse in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Connecticut, and many other facilities.
Nicole also used fraudulent means to work as a Licensed Practical Nurse and Registered Nurse Supervisor. Per authorities, she had used fake credentials and stolen identities to occupy these positions over the years.
Investigations were carried out, and it was discovered that she performed poorly in her duties and stole prescription medications from vulnerable patients.
Authorities are urging anyone affected by the actions of Shannon Nicole to come forward as the 39-year-old has numerous charges, including but not limited to; Identity Theft, Fraud (Healthcare Fraud), Endangering the Welfare of a Care-Dependent Person, Forgery, Theft of Unlawful Taking (Prescription Medications), Unlawful Use of a Computer, and Corrupt Organizations.
