Unprovoked, uncalled for. Packers twitter, help me out and find this guy…. this is not okay
I hate that my fiancé had this happen simply cheering for her team pic.twitter.com/aiHCKzxrSS
The dispute started when an older man who we could eventually ID as Ryan Caldwell scolded a woman making Basara pick up his phone and start filming. Ryan was asked to stop, but he refused and after the video was shared it got lots of reactions so Ryan got backlash for his act.
The Video quickly gained traction gaining over 22 million views on X (formerly known as Twitter) alone.
Lots of Netizens incontrovertibly criticised his act others simply wondered why Basar did not do things but just stood there filming and allowing his ‘wife’ get insulted repeatedly.
In his defense, he explained that he didn’t want issues with the opposing team fans (The Eagles) more importantly, he said because of Ryan’s friends.
The firm where he works has stated that they will be investigating to understand what happened. They have also publicly condemned him and will be taking the matter seriously.
In their words:
…BCT Partners denounces this type of behavior, and we take this matter extremely seriously. As an organization that has always stood for inclusivity, the conduct displayed was completely unacceptable and stands in direct opposition to our company values,
Since the online outbreak, Ryan Caldwell deleted his LinkedIn profile. Regardless, we were able to discover he has experience in Project and Hospitality Management.
