Born Nicholas Alexander Chavez on 6th September, 1999 is an American actor, popular for his role play as Spencer Cassadine in soap opera General Hospital, a role that won him Daytime Emmy Award for outstanding young performer in drama series. He also role played as a murderer Lyle Menendez in a crime movie titled Monster, the Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. 

While auditioning for the role, he claimed he was not aware of the Menendez Brothers. In Nicholas Chavez’s words’ “I actually have not heard of the Menendez Brothers. I wasn’t even alive when this happened. As soon as I got the audition, I immediately called the people who I knew and loved who were alive during that time and I asked them what they know about it and what their impressions of it were and that was actually interesting information to get.”

He mentioned that the 1989 accident happened years before his birth. He also mentioned he had to look up the characters of the role he was playing so he could bring the character to life.
