On social media platforms like Facebook and X (formerly known as Twitter), claims that Gunne Stockton, the quarterback for the Georgia Bulldogs, has been arrested for possessing marijuana are false and should be disregarded immediately. 

The claims seem to have stemmed from an X user, “No3 Sports,” a known parody account, claiming that the Georgia Bulldogs were arrested and were later released on a $10,000 bond. In the post, he posted an image with packs of marijuana on police vehicles and a picture of Stockton at the bottom of the image.

Post reads:

“Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton was arrested in Florida on Thursday evening for marijuana possession.

Stockton was released on $10,000 bond”
