Comperatore was the chief firefighter of the Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Company in Sarver. He was also an engineer at a plastic manufacturing company in Butler.
Corey Compertore had two daughters who are both in their 20s; Allyson and Kaylee. He lived with his family in Sarver, Pa. Report showed that he was a committed father and husband and a man of peace who fought against political violence.

The report shows that Corey Compertore died a hero. The 50-year-old firefighter who was a great supporter of former President Trump attended the rally held on Saturday and died in his attempt to protect his family.
Compertore died heroically while trying to protect his family during Trump’s assassination attempt – Governor Josh Shapiro said in his speech.
COREY COMPERTORE FUNERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Funeral instructions have been announced for the hero- Corey Compertore. The public would be allowed to visit the deceased from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm at Laube Hall, Freeport Community Park.
A private funeral service will be held, led by his pastor Jonathan Fehl to celebrate his life and commitment to his faith.
He was described as a family man and a girl dad who was committed to his family and proved to be a faithful husband and father. He was also a communalist who showed a great dislike for violence.
Corey Compertore was remembered for his good deeds and honored by many people including those who never knew him while he still lived.
