Celinda Levno, Denver Flight Attendant, Tragically Killed in Stabbing Incident
A seasoned American Airlines flight attendant, Celinda Anne Levno, has lost her life after a deadly knife attack in Denver Colorado.
Celinda, with almost 40 years as an American Airlines flight attendant lost her life to a stabbing in Denver Colorado. She was from Phoenix AZ, and the stabbing took place during a layover in Denver.
Denver had a rough night with a bunch of stabbings on January 11, 2025. At the 16th Street Mall, a busy spot, one woman didn’t make it and a couple of guys got hurt. , those dudes’ injuries weren’t too bad.
Cops got the call to hustle over to 16th Street and Tremont at about 5:12 p.m. this past Saturday. When they showed up, they found Levno in a bad way and zipped her to the hospital, but she didn’t make it and died Sunday morning. Not too far from there, on 16th Street and California, and over on 16th Street and Lawrence Street, two dudes got stabbed too but they lived through it.
The group that looks out for flight attendants, the APFA, recognized Levno and confirmed she was the one who didn’t survive. She kicked off her flying gig with America West back in ’89 and had this huge heart for horses. American Airlines was also super down about her not being around anymore and slammed the whole thing as a stupid violent act.
Levno finished school at Arcadia High and went for a Psychology degree at Arizona State University. This talented musician also learned Flute Performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Folks who knew her say she was super sweet and really thoughtful.
They’ll let us know when the funeral is set to happen. Right now, her family and buddies are asking everyone to let them have some space to grieve.
There’s been a wave of tribute to her.
