In a sad piece of news, we report the demise of Doug Daggett, a notable and beloved figure in the Clifonia Community.
At the time of writing this article, we have yet to confirm the time of death, but he passed on Sunday, the 3rd of August, 2025. We can, however, confirm that Daggett died from a heart attack while he was doing what he loved the most, golfing.
Per tributes from family, friends, and lovers of the deceased, he was a man of deep faith, unchallengable dedication to his family, and, more importantly, he was a man of genuine kindness.
Daggett was an individual who touched the lives of many, both in church and on the golf course. He lived a life of gratitude and purpose; he was always looking to lift the spirits of those around him.
Mourners expressed that he used his talents to inspire others and set a standard through worship and service.
Although Daggett’s passing left a void, he would continue to be remembered for his compassion, faith, joy, and love, particularly to those who had the privilege of knowing him.
The community and his family have organized a service celebrating the life and times of Doug Daggett at the Community Christian Church in Morgan Hill, California, 95037, on Saturday, the 16th of 2025, at 11 AM PST.
The family has urged attendees to attend the service wearing a golf shirt because of Daggett’s love for the game. They have also made provision for an online stream for those who are not able to attend.
The family has also stressed that people can make donations to Mercy Ships or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Doug’s memory.
