Two 18 Year Olds Shot Late at Night in Clifton, NJ

Authorities confirmed that two teenagers, both 18 years of age, were injured in the Clifton, New Jersey, shooting. 

The incident occurred on Tuesday, the 29th of July, 2025. Thomas Rinaldi, the Clifton Police Chief, in a press release, explained that the first teen was found around 10:57 p.m. with a gunshot wound near Third and Foster streets in Clifton, New Jersey, in Passaic County. He was immediately rushed to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center.

About 30 minutes after finding the first teen, the second teen walked into the St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic with the same injury as the first and was later transferred to the same hospital as the first teen. 

Although the police are still investigating the issue, medical staff have explained that the teens are expected to survive the gunshot injury. 

At the time of writing this article, the authorities have not released the names of the teenager, nor have they made an arrest. They, however, are urging the public with useful information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect involved in the incident to report to the local authorities.
