Young Scientist Exhibition Showcases Innovation from Ireland’s Brightest Minds

Without any iota of doubt, the 2025 BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition has seen brilliant displays of work.

The prestigious event was held at the RDS, Dublin seeing outstanding projects from Ireland’s brightest kids.

During the event, ideas sprung from the S.T.E.M (Science, Tech, Engineering, and Mathematics).

This event was a platform for students to display their bright ideas. According to reports, 15 projects from Meath secondary schools met the judges’ standards.

Some notable submissions came from Eureka Secondary School, Boyne Community School, and St. Joseph’s Secondary School.

From Presentation Secondary School, Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland emerged, Ciara, Saoirse, and Laoise Murphy taking the overall winners for their ACT app.

A statement from the reads:

The winners of the 61st BTYSTE are Ciara Murphy, Saoirse Murphy & Laoise Murphy, from Presentation Secondary School Tralee 👏👏👏

Their app fosters better health care. One predominant feature is how health information is readily available to EMS. It helps to make emergency responses efficient and timely.
