There has been a lot of buzz on social media with many asking if the “Xenomorph frog” is real or fake. It is fake.
The strange “Xenomorph frog” has been circulating on Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter, with many pondering the authenticity and leaving many confused and stunned.
The image of a frog with an alien-like look and very unique features has been believed by many to be a new species of frog; however, this is false.
Just to clear the air, the “Xenomorph frog” is NOT a real animal. It is simply a sculpture created by an artist in China, Le Chonun, who is known for his outstanding work in lifelike frog sculptures.
Some persons or a group of persons took a photo of the sculpture, shared it on social media, and claimed they were real images of a new species of frog.
To worsen the situation, the images were further enhanced with AI to create more misleading visuals.
As good as the story of an “alien-like” sounds, it is simply fabricated, and it is gradually gaining momentum across the internet.
It is very important to note that there is no evidence of such a frog existing, and at the time of writing this article, no scientist has reported its discovery.
