My former husband, Steve Grindstaff, passed away early this morning.
Steve Grindstaff, was boss over the Automotive Group for several decades.
According to reports, he built the business from the ground up and made it a force to be reckoned with in the United States.
He founded the Automotive Group in 1987. His company is one of many few to have 14 dealerships in Elizabethton, Bristol, Kingsport, and Johnson City.
Sources say his company at the time of his death operated 5 franchises. He was the President and Chief Operating Officer (C.O.O) until 2019. He stepped down and transferred all positions he held to his wife, Ashley Grindstaff.
According to Networth sources, Steve at the time of death was worth $10 million.
Many of his family, friends and admirers appreciated his business wit.
