UK Social Media Regulation Sparks National Debate on Free Speech
This video from the Good Morning Britain TV show has been causing commotion on the internet, where a group of individuals gather themselves in the discussion of banning social media, mostly X (formerly known as Twitter) from the UK.
However, Many X users do not find it funny as the majority believe it’s a way of blocking citizens’ ears from the truth directly on social media.
One of the speakers, Ana Vilhete made a comment “it’s only a temporary measure to limit the spread of Inflammatory information, misinformation across the UK at this point. I think we should focus on keeping people safe and the community safe as well…”

Additionally, Ban on social media is like telling people not to voice out when they see a wrong act being carried out. Government should and already knows that they can not control the narrative on all social media platforms, especially X. People on social media are actually capturing true footage, not the mainstream media bias & propaganda! Banning social media especially in the UK is a big deal to its citizens.
