Nicole Perez Metairie LA Mom Remembered After Tragic New Orleans Attack

On the 1st of January 2025, there was a terrorist attack in New Orleans that left about 15 dead and many injured. Nicole Perez, a 28-year-old mom from Metairie, LA, was one of the victims of the tragedy.

Many have taken to several social media platforms to express their grief through their numerous condolence messages.

Authorities have identified the body of Metairie LA Mom, Parez, as one the victims of the January 1st, 2025 (New Year) ‘terrorist strike’.

According to reports, a man ID’ed as Shamsud-Din Jabbar ran his vehicle into a crowd of people on Bourbon Street.

Many have speculated that it was an ISIS attack on the United States.

At the time of writing this post, authorities have yet to identify all the bodies of those dead and injured. However, many who recognize some of these victims have hit social media to pay tribute to the dead and commemorate with the family of the deceased.

According to reports, Nicole had been promoted to the post of Deli manager in Metairie. Reportedly, She was out with her friends when the tragedy happened. Again, according to reports, was immediately taken to a hospital but could not be revived.

Perez’s close friend and senior colleague, Kimberly Usher-Halls took to social media to grieve explaining that life was beginning to get good for her; she had just moved to a new apartment, got a promotion.

Kimberly also explained how great a mom she was.

In her words:

She was a great mother, She just was a really exciting little young lady and she was getting herself together.

She was so beautiful and full of life. Her son Melo is now without his momma, and we are without our friend and dedicated employee. I’m hoping to get some help for her burial expenses and to help her son with expenses he will need to transition into a new living situation.

Reportedly, a GoFundMe fundraiser has been organized by Kimberly Usher to help raise support for her burial.

Many have taken to social media to pay their respects to the victims and more importantly, commemorate with their families.
