NASA Moon Mission Fraud Allegations Resurface After Astronaut’s Comments

If you are a lover of scientific discoveries, then you have obviously heard about NASA’s journey to the moon. 

For years it has been a widely accepted belief but this recent trending video has raised suspicions that it truly ever existed. 

“Why doesn’t NASA go back to the moon?”

“The problem is we don’t have the technology to do that anymore”

Ever since the initial journey to the moon, there have been no reports about another plan to make such a trip again even though they have more advanced technology in this age. 

That makes people doubt if the journey to the moon ever happened or if it was just another scientific fantasy. 

In the video, NASA Astronaut; Don Pettit was caught saying that NASA lacked the technology to travel to the moon. 

This has caused the Netizens to question if this ever happened. Below are some reactions from some X users. 

“How does that make sense? 

There is more technology in a cell phone than they had to “get” to the moon”

“if you watch the video of the take-off from the moon,  you’d know its old movie tricks. there is no way we could send live audio and video from the moon.”

Some however believed that the expenses involved in such trips are too much considering their relative significance. 

“They went 9 times. It costs 6% of the US GDP. How many times did you want them to go, and at what expense? What scientific benefit does a moon landing have over, say, JWST?”

“We went. It’s possibly the greatest achievement of humanity. Quit passing your distrust of government to 1960s NASA, who made every bit of data from these missions readily available to the public. All the answers are there for you if you’re willing to dig deeper than watching a few seconds of an out-of-context interview you’re deliberately misunderstanding”

Some other Netizens believe that it is a result of environmental factors rather than a technology factor just like the X user below said:

“This is due to safety requirements.

We have the technology to achieve the mission; however, that technology does not meet modern safety requirements.

The capability of reaching the Moon has not been maintained to modern safety standards”
