Mary Ann Hansen, Little Rock Resident, Killed in Neighbor’s Violent Attack

In a lunatic attack by a neighbor, Mary Ann Hansen, a Little Rock Resident gets attacked reportedly and brutally murdered.

According to reports, this occurrence happened on the 1st of January, 2025 (New Year’s Day). Reports also have it that the neighbor of Mary Ann attacked her, attacked his mother, and almost took the life of his mother leaving her in critical condition.

Events are still unfolding, however, we know that the details of this event were shared by the late Mary Ann’s daughter, Eva Hansen who was left devasted by the news.

Last night Stephan SJ James and I found out that our mother, Mary Ann, was tragically taken from us in a violent act. We are still trying to understand this situation, but we do know that the suspect was a neighbor, who also attacked his own mother. He was found by police, did not surrender, and is dead.

His own mother is in critical condition last we heard. These are people we’ve known our whole lives. We are in complete disbelief. We don’t know what we need right now, frankly, no one prepares you for your mom to be murdered. As of now, the investigation is still ongoing, we can’t access her house to begin to make arrangements or even get her dogs.

We will keep everyone posted as we know more. If you are a person who was close to my mom and would like to be involved in any arrangements, feel free to reach out. UPDATE: I was able to get the dogs this afternoon. They are okay.

Mary Hansen studied at the University of Arkansas at Litte Rock and the Clinton School of Public Service after she bagged her degree as a music major from the University of Toledo.

According to reports, Mary was a passionate theater enthusiast. She performed in various musicals, including Oklahoma among others.

She reportedly left two beautiful daughters behind.

Alexandria Smith Herbert expressed his pain in a post, explaining that she taught at his school, Mitchell Elementary. He further expressed how creative she was during her time at Mitchell Elementary.
