The Lake Orion community in Oakland County, Michigan, is currently mourning the loss of David William Hosang, aged 33.
David tragically passed on Tuesday, 5th of August, 2025. He was known for his kind heart, his generosity, and his humor. The community described him as an individual who has touched the lives of many with his kindness and commitment to the development of the community.
Friends have taken to social media to pay tribute to David, describing him as more than a friend; he was family.
A friend’s tribute reads:
“David Hosang, you were the best. You were a part of our Family for a long time. You will always be in our Hearts. You will be missed. Fly High Buddy, we loved you like our own. B-Bop and Wango-Tango.”
During this difficult time, the community has been asked to keep the Hosang family in their thought and, most importantly, in their prayers.
Although at the time of writing this article, there has not been a confirmed cause of death, however, there will be a memorial visitation for the deceased at Modetz Funeral Home Funeral Silverbell. It would be held on Friday, the 15th of August, 2025.
