Julián Araújo Leaves Barcelona for Bournemouth in €10M Deal
Former Barcelona player, Julián Araújo has been sold to Bournemouth as all documents are ready and finally sealed.
Barcelona is said to receive a €10 million fixed fee with no buyback and no sell-clause. Julián Araújo will be signing a five-year contract with Bournemouth and also head to England on Sunday for some medical tests which will be completed on Monday ahead of signing the contract.
But it gets worse as the club supporters are lashing out at the team for selling one of their key players while defending Julián Araújo saying Bournemouth could have bought Victor Roque. But there is more Information mentioning Bournemouth and West Ham as the two teams to keep an eye on as Bournemouth can sell Julián Araújo for 4x the price for 2 years.
Here are a few reactions from the lash out on Barcelona against Julián Araújo;
Vertigo warrior reacted “I hope common sense prevails and we keep Julian Araujo for the following reasons:
1. Araujo young, Cancelo hits 30
2. Araujo costs next to nothing
3. Araujo can defend, Cancelo can’t.
4. He is long-term, Cancelo short-term.”
Raghu reacted “Julian Araujo who is worth 50 million euros is getting shipped out for 10 million euros..Next up is Vitor Roquefort while the likes of Ter Stegan and Ferran Torres are given lifetime contracts by Barca 💔”
Mr Nobody “That’s a surprising move! Araújo had a lot of potential at Barcelona, but I guess the opportunity to play regularly at Bournemouth was too good to pass up. €10m seems like a decent fee, but no buyback or sell-on clause is interesting.”
Bookxy commented “This deal baffles me tbh. This dude was really good at Palmas in his very first season. We let him go for peanuts with no sell on or buy back clause, this isn’t being desperate any more fr.”
Udyham reacted “It sounds like Julián Araújo’s move to Bournemouth is officially happening! With all documents signed and the deal finalised, Barcelona will receive a €10 million fixed fee. Notably, there won’t be a buy-back or sell-on clause, which means Barcelona won’t have any financial stake in Araújo’s future transfers.
Araújo is set to travel today, with his medical tests scheduled for Monday. This move marks an exciting new chapter in his career as he heads to the Premier League!”
Alli reacted “Every day, I say Barca cannot shock me but everyday, every single day they manage to do just that. I am tired!!”
