Isis Flag? Speculations arises after New Orleans Truck Attack on New Year
There have been reactions on social media following the New Orleans truck attack that claimed 10 lives. There are claims the attack was likely from Isis, as a flag was seen on the truck.
There have also been reports of 30 more injured.
The suspect name is unknown at this time but there have been speculations.
According to reports, The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. at Bourbon and Iberville streets near the end of New Year’s celebrations and hours before the All-State Sugar Bowl at the Caesars Superdome.
The suspect drove a pickup truck around barricades at a high speed, according to The New Orleans Police Superintendent.
The suspect reportedly fired on officers which injured two of them after crashing the vehicle. The two officers are reported to be in stable condition.
New Orleans Police Department said when the suspect fired on responding officers, they returned fire, and the suspect was struck and subsequently declared deceased on the scene.
