Irish Dance Community Mourns Darren Maguire’s Tragic Passing

In sad news, we report the death of Darren Maguire, founder of The Maguire Academy of Irish Dance.

Research shows that the company’s social media page announced the death of its owner. A post from the studio’s page, explains that Darren died with family encompassing him.

In their words:

We’re devastated to share the news that our beloved teacher, studio owner and friend, Darren Maguire, has passed away. He was surrounded by his family and an enormous amount of love from his Tucson dance family from across the pond.

Rest in peace, Darren. You are so loved

Darren was a Riverdance before going to start his studio in 2006. He started the company to provide and promote dance education with quality written all over it.

His services were provided to the Tucson, Arizona, community United States and its environs.

Darren is from the United Kingdom, Seven Kings, Redbridge more precisely. He, however, took to Tucson Arizona, and made it his home away from home.

He founded his studio to teach Irish dances to individuals and groups of Individuals of different ages. He taught to those who wanted to dance to compete and those who just enjoyed dancing as a hobby.

Aside from his Tucson studio, he had an annex in Texas, United States.

Since his death, there has been an outpouring of tributes.

May God rest Darren’s funny, kind, friendly soul. What an unfathomable loss to the Irish dancing world. Everyone at SRMnR is sending love and strength to the Maguire family as they process this tremendous loss. Darren’s legacy will live on through his incredible family, his masses of friends and his countless students who will, no doubt, miss him greatly. At dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis. 💔❤️🖤
