Did Vitality Die? Sadly, Yes! Team Vitality’s Twisten is dead; and per reports, he died by suicide as announced by the team’s X page

Krael Asenbrener was a very talented esports player. He was often called “Twisten” and was a member of Team Vatality.

In recent news development, he died by suicide. On his X (formerly known as Twitter), he posted “Good Night”.

Many of his teammates in Vatality have posted grieving in their way; particularly the assistant coach, Harry ‘Gorilla’ Mepham has openly expressed how saddened he was by the news of Twisten’s death and went on to call him a close friend more like a brother.

In his words:

I woke up this morning to the news of one of my closest friends, someone who genuinely felt as if he was my brother, taking his own life. Words can not describe the grief or emptiness i’m feeling right now. I loved him and forever will. I’ll leave this with a quote from his favourite show, and something he used to say to me when i felt down: “If you are feeling disheartened, that you are somehow not enough, set your heart ablaze.” Rest easy brother, we all love you

Twisten was 19 when he died.

Sometime in February, of 2023 records show that Twisten posted on social media how he has been battling with depression, he explained that he had to spend time in mental institutions and got help at that time from his father.

Twisten first step into the esports limelight was when he joined ‘the Kings of Sosnovka’ in 2020. This team are based in the Czech Republic.

He played in several tournaments and joined the Vatality in 2022. In this team, he played the role of a dualist and shot him into stardom in the gaming world.
