A Chesterfield Teacher, Shaun Jason Adam, has been arrested and charged with being in possession of child s*xual abuse material.
Per multiple reports, the arrest was made on Tuesday, the 22nd of July, 2025, after an investigation that began at Regal Cinemas in Colonial Heights, Virginia, where the suspect, Adam, was allegedly taking photos of a juvenile in a bathroom.
The 49-year-old teacher at Chesterfield County Public Schools, Adam, was found in possession of these child abuse materials.
Authorities have obtained a search warrant and ransacked his residence, finding and seizing several electronic devices.
Although his next court appearance has been scheduled for Thursday, the 18th of September, 2025, he’s been held without bail at Riverside Regional Jail.
The Authorities have asked the public to come forward with any information to aid the investigation to come forward. Meanwhile, Adam’s teaching duties at Chesterfield County Public Schools have been terminated.
