Brick Township Mourns Anne Rasmussen, Route 70 DWI Crash Victim
Anne Rasmussen, the unfortunate victim of the Route 70 DWI crash was a mother, grandmother, and ER nurse who resided in Brick Township Ocean County, New Jersey.
According to authorities, she died on the spot in a car crash on Route 70.
The accident happened in the early hours of Friday, the 27th of December, 2024. Authorities explained that the accident occurred near a store (the Lowe’s home improvement store) on Route 70.
Respondents and local authorities arrived after receiving a call around 5 am. Authorities explained that the accident was caused by a collision between an SUV (Toyota RAV 4) and a Volkswagen Beetle.
Police tell us Anne Rasmussen a loved and loving mom, grandmother, ER nurse, and wife was killed in this mornings crash. The driver was drunk, and driving the wrong way down Route 70 in Brick. The driver destroyed a family.
According to reports, there was a male and female driver involved in the accident. The male driver is yet to be ID’ed while the female was identified as Anne Rasmussen.
Forensics explains that the driver was driving under the Influence (DUI), driving eastbound in the westbound lane of Route 79 on the opposite side of the concrete.
The driver is currently in the hospital, in critical condition but stable. He has however been charged with driving under the Influence (intoxicated) and reckless driving.
Many have reacted to her death.
