Birmingham Police Criticized Over Pub Attack Response Video
In a recent video, a “citizen journalist” asked a Birmingham police if a dispersal order was in place to calm situations down.
“Can I ask you a question do you not have a dispersal order in place for situations like this?” he asked.
Per the “citizen journalist”, the pub in the area had just been attacked, and wondered why the team of police officers did not make an effort to apprehend the culprits involved or disperse people at the very least.
“They’ve just attacked the pub. …there’s criminal damage to the pub, I’ve just recorded the windows being smashed. So, no arrests have been made no?” he asked.
He intensified his question, to find out if there was no dispersal order or dogs to be used to disperse people.
According to the Journalist, there have been numerous threats online and he was there to document the happening.
He accused the police offers of not having sufficient intelligence after giving a breakdown of happening.
In the police representative’s response, he said “Anyway, we need to go”.
