Archbishop Chapelle High School to Hold Prayer Vigil for Tien Bohne, Orphaned 13-Year-Old
The community of Archbishop Chapelle High School, a private all-girls Catholic high school in Metairie, Louisiana is preparing for intercessory prayers for Tien Bohne their student.
According to reports, she was orphaned recently at the age of 13 after a devastating shooting experience in River Ridge.
Reports have it that her father, Glenn Bohne who was 46 shot and killed his 40 years old wife, Amy Bohne in their home in Stephen Drive on Saturday, the 8th of January, 2025.
Reports have it that he also shot at his daughters. One of them, a 9 year old was rushed to the hospital because her condition was very critical. Tien who was 13 years old witnessed this devastating sight and called 911 alerting the authorities of what she had just experienced.
Authorities, Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Deputies explained that they immediately responded to the call, and shot and killed Glenn Bohne after he tried to open fire on a deputy.
When asked, the Sheriff of Jefferson Parish, Joe Lopinto explained that they are still investigating to find out why the man, Gleen decided to wipe out his entire family. His neighbors who were interviewed said that Glenn did not show signs of coming after his family, the incident just happened.

Archbishop Chappelle has thus decided to hold intercessory prayer for the 8th grader, Tien Bohne.
Their statement reads:
This evening, St. Matthew the Apostle School will host a Rosary and Intercession for our Chapelle sister and her family at 6PM in their church.
Please join in prayer as we come together to support the Bohne Family during this difficult time.
