Tampa Woman Who ‘Lit Up Every Room’ Remembered After Sudden Death

The death of the 33-year-old Kaitloin Tyne Miles, who was well-known for her bubbly and caring personality, has left the Tampa Hospitality World heartbroken.

She died on Friday, September 5, 2025, and has left loved ones, friends, and colleagues devastated.

She was born on August 23, 1992, in Union Town, Pennsylvania, spent the majority of her life growing up in Frederick Town, and went on to study Forensic Science at Robert Morris University. 

She had a truly remarkable career with Hilton Hotels in Tampa, earning the admiration of leaders and colleagues alike for her exceptional work ethic and unwavering generosity and care for her work and others.

Coworkers testify that Kaitlin treated guests like they were family and hence she remained a relevant source of inspiration to others.

Aside from her professional career, she led a great life as she was very fond of visiting sandy beaches, going on hiking trips, and exploring new places with her pet dog, Zoe, who was always glued to her. Her sporadic laughter and homey vibe made every event very special.

She is survived by her parents, Mark Miles and Marta McCombs, her sisters Kenzie and Kailee, her grandmother Joann, and many other  relatives, Preceding Kaitlin in death was her sister Kayla and some other close members of Kaitlin’s family

The Memorial and Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20, at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel, followed by burial at Old Union Cemetery. Her legacy of love and kindness will be carried on by those she loved.
