With the heartbreaking loss of the 25-year-old Blake Sturm, the people of the Roanoke Community were left devastated.
Blake Sturm was a gentle soul whose life ended too abruptly. He went missing on Friday, the 29th of August 2025.
The only detail that family members held onto was that Blake was wearing a black shirt with a yellow dragon.
This detail was held in mind when the search for Blake was ongoing.
The search carried on for days whilst loved ones shared his photos around to help with the search, pointing out that he had a distinct tattoo of a knife wrapped in flowers on his arm.
Unfortunately, those same tattoos were the things that helped the authorities identify his body four days after his disappearance on the 2nd of September, 2025.
Two memorials will be held to honor the life that Blake Sturm lived, one on the 5th of September, 2025, by 7:00 pm, and the other on the 6th of September, 202,5 by 10:00 am respectively.
