The four-year disappearance of a 30-year-old Krystal Anderson has left the community of Wagener, South Carolina, haunted and concerned.
Krystal Anderson was last seen on Saturday, August 20, 2022. She was a mother of four with distinctive green eyes.
Many who were with her before the tragedy struck explained that Krystal had just returned home from her shift as a home health aide, still in her scrubs.

Family says her children heard her screams that night as she was forced into the trunk of a Cadillac by her abusive partner, 49-year-old Tony Lee Berry. After several days, the car was found burnt in Newberry County, in the state of South Carolina, United States. She was never found again.
Krystal Anderson’s sister, Shadira Smothers, said she fought to bring hard-to-get justice, and the case was initially dismissed by the authorities. However, Berry was later charged with murder, but the body or remains of Krystal were never found.

Krystal is remembered for her love and compassion. Her story reminds the community to always speak out against domestic abuse, as her family continues to seek closure and keep her memory alive.
Authorities have asked anyone with information to contact the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office at (803) 642-1761.
