An old story of the Wawasee Bus Crash of 2013 resurfaces as netizens ponder the actions of the driver in the viral video.
An old video, which has started gaining traction on social media platforms, particularly on Facebook and X (formerly known as Twitter), has left many netizens wondering and expressing disappointment that the driver in the viral video did not immediately check on the well-being of the students.

The incident, according to a report, which occurred on Friday, the 22nd of May 2013, is said to have left many with injuries, some of which were minor, as four school buses collided.
The tragedy happened near Wawasee Middle School, where over 100 students were on board these school buses.
Reports explain that one bus driver out of the four was critically injured and was flown to a hospital by helicopter.
Per the witnesses’ account, the crash sounded like a “rolling thunder” as one bus crashed into another.
Although the situation looked very critical, it was somewhat reassuring to know that only one driver sustained a serious injury.
The crash has resurfaced online due to a viral video that shows the moment of impact from one of the buses’ surveillance cameras.
