Victoria Anastasi, Actress from Veep and House of Cards, Passes Away from CJD
In a sad piece of news, we report the death of TV star and actress Victoria Anastasi who according to a report passed over the weekend.
Her TV presence was evident in Restoration, a Christian movie, Veep, and House of Cards. Where she put her heart out on the job.
The news of her death was announced by her friend, Alexis Miller who she’s been friends with for a long time. She shared this news via social media. According to her announcement, Anastasi passed on the Friday, the 10th of January, 2025.
The family of Victoria explained that she died from a rare hereditary condition, Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD).
In the 2018 movie Restoration, she played the role of Samantha Collins, This character portrayed determination and resilience as she was a determined high school wrestler, and she formed a bond with her high school coach, CK Erwin.
This movie directed by Jeremiah McLamb went ahead to receive 6 award nominations, winning four of six. One of the prestigious awards the movie won was the Inspired Faith Award at the Inspired Faith Film Festival.
According to public records, she was born in La Plata, Charles County, Maryland, United States.
She chased after her passion for acting from a young age, motivated by her relation to the Superstar Actress, Katherine Hepburn. After graduating from La Plata High School, where she solidified her passion, and nutured her interest in acting and theatre, she moved to North Carolina and later Atlanta, Georgia to continue her acting career.
According to her bio on her website, she is not just an actress, but also a “wardrobe stylist, painter, and photographer”.
