All-Ireland Intermediate Football Final Featuring Crossmolina Postponed Due to Tragic Incident
In a devastating report, the All-Ireland intermediate football that would have held between Ballinderry and Crossmolina will not hold.
According to reports, the match was set to be held on Sunday, the 12th of January, 2025 will no longer be held because of a sad event in the Mayo Club.
The event was supposed to be held at Croke Park, Dublin. It was supposed to be an event that would be held as part of the three club finals during the weekend.
The Gaelic Athletic Association’s (GAA) committee, the Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) would set a new date for this game to be held.
The GAA released an official statement on the 10th of January, 2025 their site explaining that the club championship between Crossmolina Deel Rovers and Ballinderry is postponed.

Due to tragic events, the AIB GAA Football All-Ireland Intermediate Club Championship Final between Crossmolina Deel Rovers and Ballinderry is postponed.
The CCCC will confirm the re-fixture details in due course.
According to reports, other matches would go as planned at the Croke Park on Sunday, the 12th of January. This fixture would see Watergrasshill take on Galway’s Tynagh Abbey-Dunirty and the Junior arm of the All-Ireland games would see Kilkenny’s St. Lachtain’s face Cork Russell Rovers.
Crossmolina had initially knocked out the Caragh in the semi-final and the fixture between Ballinderry and Kerry’s Austin Stacks saw Ballinderry secure their sit in the next round.
