James Earl Jones Confirmed Dead @ 93

If one of your favourite movie is The Lion King or Darth Vader, you would agree with me that the voice actor that portrays the gentle wisdom of Mufasa to the menacing threat of Darth Vader, James Earl Jones gave his best voice acting to some of the greatest characters in the entertainment history. Albeit, the sudden death of the iconic figure has left everyone in the movie industry blank while questioning the vanity of life. 

A Look Back at James Earl Jones’ Career

Born on January 17, 1931, James Earl Jones was an American actor known for his movie roles and work in theatre. James Earl Jones is best described as one of the most popular and most versatile actors of his time for his outstanding performance on stage and screen. Jones was an acclaimed star of stage and screen, winning Tony, Emmy, Oscar, and Grammy awards, though later his unmistakable voice became as famous as his usually smiling face. 

A native of Arkabutla, Jones was raised by his grandparents in Michigan and overcame a stutter during his early childhood, he claimed to have overcome his disability through poetry and acting.  Jones studied drama at the University of Michigan and moved to New York in 1957 to follow in the footsteps of his father, Robert Earl – who left before Jones was born – as an actor. James Earl Jones was the voice for Star Wars –  villain Darth Vader, he also voiced King Mufasa – the Lion King.

When did James Jones Die? 

United States veteran James Earl Jones died on Monday. The 93 year old was confirmed dead at his home in Dutchess County, NY by his representative, Barry McPherson in a released statement. The cause of death is unknown.
