Voepass 2283 Flight Crash in São Paulo: 63 Feared Dead in Tragic Air Disaster
A tragic plane crash rocked Brazil on the 9th of August, 2024, a Friday. A Voepass flight crashed in the state of São Paulo state.
According to reports, onboard the flight were 59 passengers and four crew members, confirmed reports say it went down in the city of Vinhedo.

The flight gracefully took to the skies from Cascavel at 11:50 AM local time and per reports, was supposed to arrive in São Paulo around 1:40 PM. Tragically, it never reached its destination.
Again, per reports reaching us, the aircraft, an ATR 72 twin-turboprop, was seen swaying out of hand before crash landing. Authorities are on the matter and are reviewing the facts.
In a public meeting, the sympathetic Brazillian President, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva asked everyone to observe a moment of silence for the victims.
He went on social media to send his condolences to the families of those affected, he also expressed his profound sorrow about the event.
The airline authorities have not at the time of writing this article given specific details about the accident nor have they discussed the conditions of of those on board.
Many emergency response teams have trooped to the scene.
